Would you like to take part in the 10 km of the Bijlmer Run on the 16th of May 2026 and improve your running skills? Then our 13-week running course is the perfect challenge!
Starting Tuesday, 17th of February 2026, we’ll train together every Tuesday evening to prepare for the 10 km race Bijlmer Run race. Under the expert guidance of running coach Mike Elderenbosch, you’ll improve your technique, increase your speed, and build endurance.
Missed a session? No worries, you can make up a session on another day, by arranging it with the coach.

Meet the trainer: Mike Elderenbosch
Our training sessions are led by Mike Elderenbosch from Running Amsterdam, an experienced running coach who has helped countless runners improve their performance.
“As an athlete, I was part of the Dutch 4×100 meters relay sprint team and competed in individual events such as the 100 and 60 meters sprints. Additionally, I was a member of the Dutch 4-man bobsled team known as the Amsterdam Crusaders. For several years, I served as a coach at the athletics club AAC in Amsterdam, mentoring young, promising running talents.”
